Circularly bordered by a massive icy wall called Antarctica. IMMOVABLE!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT SPHERICAL! They have fed us innumerable 'photos' of Earth from space! Not a single one of them is a photo! They are all computer-generated graphic images! CGIs! Copernican Theory has been fact with zero proof for millennia! The conspiracy to deceive us and take away Yahuwah from HIS Earth has failed. Big-bang theory! Darwinian Theory! Copernican Theory! - all theories, non facts and non-truths, have reigned over us for so long we came to believe that our Earth is a globe! Earth is not a globe. Dubious claims of landing on the moon have been proven to be hoaxes and lies. As NASA today is expressing the impossibility of man going to the moon as they have no answer yet of how to overcome the Van Allen Radiation Belt right above our stratosphere! Limitless Deception!

Biblical Tithing - a Discussion

The commands to Tithe throughout Scripture are irrefutable, undeniable, and non-negotiable. Due to teachings from all ends of the spectrum, the questions many have are:

  1. What is a Tithe?,
  2. When should it be given? and,
  3. To Who should it be given?

The answers, fortunately, are and have always been in Scripture for those who seek divine answers, for those who would refuse to make the arm of flesh their strength

    The Answers:

  1. What is Tithe and how much is it?
Tithe means “a tenth.” In the Torah, a Tithe is a giving of a tenth (10%) of all your BEST increase (gross income) as an offering to YaHuWaH, as He commands us.
Leviticus 27:32 KJV "And concerning the Tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto YaHuWaH". Leviticus 27:30 KJV And all the Tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is YaHuWaH'S: it is holy unto YaHuWaH.
  2. When Should the Tithe Be Returned?

    Annual Tithe, and Triennial Tithe
  3. To Who should the Tithe Be Given?

From the Children of Israel? To:

    • The Annual Tithe is to be given to Your Good Self and your family, for spending during the Annual Feasts.
    • The Triennial Tithe is to be given to:

    • Levites, Widows, Orphans, and the Stranger.
  4. From the Levites (Pastors, Rabbi, etc.):
  5. To the Temple - the STOREHOUSE

According to Torah (Scriptures), there are THREE Tithes; two pertaining to the “Children of Israel” (all Believers) and one specifically pertaining to the “Levites” (Rabbis/Ministers/Pastors), the widows and the orphans. Regarding the Tithes of the people, there is a YEARLY Tithe and a special THIRD YEAR Tithe. Contrastingly, the “Levites” only offer their Tithe on the THIRD YEAR.

The yearly Tithe is supposed to be used BY YOU and YOUR FAMILY to rejoice and celebrate with YaHuWaH during His feasts where He has chosen to “place His name* (Jerusalem, back then) and for good works. The special third year Tithe is “stored up” (saved) and then given to the “Levites,” as well as orphans and widows and even strangers (charity).

From this "third year" Tithe, the Levites, orphans and widows are then able to offer their Tithe, which goes to the Priest and the Temple, referred to as the “storehouse” in Malachi. The Tithe returned by the Levites, religious Workers, is called the 'Heave Offering'.

Even though it appears to be implied, there appears to be no “lump sum” requirement and this third year offering could be given in portions; weekly, monthly or whatever, as long as it is met fully by the end of the third year.

While your Tithe funds are in your store, you can even BORROW against your Tithe if your financial situation becomes too bad in the mean time. But, you must repay it with interest, at the prevailing interest rates. This therefore teaches us proper money management.

Surprised? No doubt, this scriptural Tithe is probably very different from the “Tithe” many of us have been taught over the years! A Tithe from the people given directly to the “Temple” (Church/Synagogue/congregation) is not scriptural. YaHuWaH's intention was to involve us in the joy of giving and put the responsibility on our shoulders to see that our Tithes are properly utilised and dispersed. The responsibility for this is not upon the church. You are to be in control of your Tithe, not the Church or Pastor!

Another reason for this, we believe is that you can no longer hide behind lack of money for failing to attend or participate in the Annual Feasts. "None shall appear before me empty-handed", says YaHuWaH.

Deuteronomy 16:16 The Scriptures 1998+ “Three times a year all your males appear before YaHuWaH your Elohim in the place which He chooses: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, and at the Festival of Weeks, and at the Festival of Booths. And none should appear before YaHuWaH empty-handed,

Since the death and resurrection of YaHuWShuwaH, and the destruction of the Temple which was an integral part of these “Holy Convocations (feasts)”, the requirement to attend these feasts in Jerusalem is no longer required. We now celebrate them wherever we are as the "spiritual Temple" is within us by the Holy Spirit.

The THREE YEAR (TRIENNIAL) TITHE

Deuteronomy 14:27-29 KJV

And the Levite that is within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him; for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee. {28} At the end of three years thou shalt bring forth all the Tithe of thine increase the same year, and shalt lay it up within thy gates: {29} And the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that YaHuWaH thy Elohim may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest.
Deuteronomy 26:12-13 KJV When thou hast made an end of tithing all the Tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled; {13} Then thou shalt say before YaHuWaH thy Elohim, I have brought away the hallowed things out of mine house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandments which thou hast commanded me: I have not transgressed thy Commandments, neither have I forgotten them:

Although giving can be done freely anytime, every three years we are required by Torah to save up a tenth (10%) of that years BEST increase (income) and give it to the Levites (minister/pastor/rabbi), the widows, orphans and strangers (charity). From this Tithe, the Levites, widows and orphans are to Tithe a tenth (10%) and give it to the Priest and into the STOREHOUSE of the Temple.

This is in stark contrast to the “traditional” teachings of the Tithe, even commonly taught among the Messianic community, that a tenth of our increase is to be given to the Levite (minister/pastor/rabbi) YEARLY, often divided into weekly portions. Many teach that the STOREHOUSE (congregation/synagogue/church) is to receive these Tithes directly from the Believer, from which the “Levite” is given a portion (salary). This is UNSCRIPTURAL and is against the teachings of the Bible.

The STOREHOUSE?

Nehemiah 10:37-39 KJV "And that we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our Elohim; and the Tithes of our ground unto the Levites, that the same Levites might have the Tithes in all the cities of our tillage. {38} And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take Tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the Tithe of the Tithes unto the house of our Elohim, to the chambers, into the treasure house. {39} For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the corn, of the new wine, and the oil, unto the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our Elohim."

The “Storehouse” of Malachi 3, so often mentioned regarding our Tithes, is clearly shown to us above. The STOREHOUSE is where the "Tithe of the Tithes" is kept for the Priest and all those who dwell in the Temple. Many have taught that the Storehouse is actually embodied in the LEVITE (Pastor, teacher, minister, rabbi) and that all our Tithes should go directly to them. Scripture, as shown, does not teach this.

Once in Scripture was Tithe given by a Believer directly to the Priest. This was when Abraham gave Melichisedec his Tithe. This was way before the development of the Priesthood and the Commandments as seen above, concerning our administration of the Tithe.

Moreover, it is in Deuteronomy 14, verse 29 that we see a DIRECT connection between our THREE YEAR TITHE and YaHuWaH's blessing detailed in Malachi 3:9-12.

Deuteronomy 14:29 KJV And the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that YaHuWaH thy Elohim may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest.

This is strong evidence that Malachi chapter 3, the blessings and curses therein, specifically relates to the THREE YEAR TITHE, and not the yearly Tithe.

Will a man rob Elohim? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In Tithes and offerings. {9} Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. {10} Bring ye all the Tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith YaHuWaH of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. {11} And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith YaHuWaH of hosts. {12} And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith YaHuWaH of hosts.
Malachi 3:8-12 KJV

End the deceipt by so-called shepherds who are wolves in sheep's clothing! Your blessings from tithing according to the Bible, which is intricately connected with YaHuWaH's Feasts, comes from YaHuWaH himself! A special "Prayer Cloth" or "Yahuwshuah-Junk" gimmickry will not contain your blessing. You will never be cursed by not giving from your Tithe to this or that ministry, only by neglecting YaHuWaH's "exclusionary clause" from the Adamic curse.

Your Triennial Tithe, and its Heave portion is designed to provide full support for Ministers. There lies your blessings from YaHuWaH Himself.

Yahuwshuah answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures (Torah), nor the power of Elohim. Matthew 22:29 KJV

As for the shepherds who ROB YaHuWaH by stealing your Tithes with guilt, fear, promises of great prosperity and twisting of scripture, they will get their due reward soon enough. The TRUTH is now with you! Now you have understanding of scriptural tithing. Begin to Tithe as YaHuWaH has told us to Tithe and you will see those Gates of Heaven open up.

May we be mindful that this world is a fallen and sinful world with the Evil One reigning over it and that the best blessings from YaHuWaH are not always monetary or "more worldly stuff," but much deeper. Be aware of it and see His blessings

Elohim has not changed; the tithe is still to be used for the support of the ministry.
Ellen G. White, 'Testimonies for the Church', Vol. 9, p. 247-250. Also, 'Counsels on Stewardship', p. 102.4
"To promote the assembling of the people for religious service, as well as to provide for the poor, a second tithe of all the increase was required. Concerning the first tithe, YaHuWaH had declared, "I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel." But in regard to the second he commanded, "Thou shalt eat before YaHuWaH thy Elohim, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear YaHuWaH thy Elohim always." This tithe, or its equivalent in money, they were for two years to bring to the place where the sanctuary was established. After presenting a thank-offering to Elohim, and a specified portion to the priest, the offerers were to use the remainder for a religious feast, in which the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow should participate. Thus provision was made for the thank-offerings and feasts at the yearly festivals, and the people were drawn to the society of the priests and Levites that they might receive instruction and encouragement in the service of Elohim. Every third year, however, this second tithe was to be used at home, in entertaining the Levite and the poor, as Moses said, "That they may eat within thy gates, and be filled." This tithe would provide a fund for the uses of charity and hospitality."
Ellen G. White, 'Review and Herald', September 17, 1889 par. 1

OFFERINGS

Offerings are totally apart from Tithes. Your offerings should at least match your Tithe in quantum. This fund is fully available to you to provide support for any of YaHuWaH's cause, as you are led by His Spirit. You are not to be dictated to by any 'Man of Elohim' as to how you are to use the funds YaHuWaH entrusted to you. You are fully responisible for every dime and talent bestowed upon you. You alone will account to HIM for every penny.

"All that we do is to be done willingly. We are to bring our offerings with joy and gratitude, saying as we present them, Of Thine own we freely give Thee. The most costly service we can render is but meager compared to the gift of Elohim to our world. Mashiyach is a gift every day. Elohim gave Him to the world, and He graciously takes the gifts entrusted to His human agents for the advancement of His work in the world. Thus we show that we recognize and acknowledge that every thing belongs to Elohim, absolutely and entirely. The offering from the heart that loves, Elohim delights to honor, giving it highest efficiency in service for Him. If we have given our hearts to Yahuwshuah, we also shall bring our gifts to Him. Our gold and silver, our most precious earthly possessions, our highest mental and spiritual endowments, will be freely devoted to Him who loved us, and gave Himself for us."
Ellen G. White, 'Counsels on Stewardship'. 198.2
"Come to YaHuWaH with hearts overflowing with thankfulness for past and present mercies, and manifest your appreciation of Elohim's bounties by bringing to Him your thank offerings, your freewill offerings, and your trespass offerings."
Ellen G. White, 'Review & Herald', Jan. 4, 1881.
"Yet some refused to be converted. They were not willing to walk in Elohim's way, and when, in order that the work of Elohim might be advanced, calls were made for freewill offerings, some clung selfishly to their earthly possessions. These covetous ones became separated from the company of believers."
Ellen G. White, 'Testimonies for the Church', Vol. 9, 126
"It is a deplorable fact that sacred and eternal considerations do not have power to open the hearts of the professed followers of Mashiyach to make freewill offerings to sustain the gospel as the temptation of feasting and general merriment."
Ellen G. White, 'Confrontation', page 70
The mighty shaking has commenced, and is going on, and all will be shaken out who are not willing to take a bold and unyielding stand, and sacrifice for Elohim and His cause. The Angel said, "Think ye He will compel any to sacrifice and give up their possessions? No! no! It must be a freewill offering. It will take all to buy the field."
Ellen G. White, Manuscript Releases, Vol. 16, p 32.2
